The North East and North Cumbria (NENC) Medicines Committee are seeking NENC system-wide views on their draft charter, which attempts to couple the national and locally agreed medicines priorities and initiatives, and highlight the identified benefits this focussed activity will bring to the NENC integrated care system and its population.

This charter, once agreed by the medicines committee, will be submitted to the ICB executive as the key priorities for delivery by the medicines committee, its subcommittees and associated working groups. Metrics will be agreed and a dashboard will capture progress made, which in turn will support assurance reporting to the ICB. The charter is not intended to capture all medicines priorities, and it will continuously reviewed to ensure it remains current, but will be fully reviewed two years from approval. Comments are welcomed from across the system, including residents and patients of the North East and North Cumbria area.

The consultation is open until 5pm on Friday the 16th of December. To take part, visit the consultation page.
