Consultation: NENC tissue viability pathway

Following the September 2026 NENC Clinical Guidelines & Pathways Group we now seek comments from across the following NENC Tissue Viability Pathways:

• Diabetic Foot Ulcer Pathway
• Moisture Associated Skin Damage Pathway
• Non-healing chronic pilonidal sinus Pathway
• Overgranulation Pathway
• Pressure Ulcer Pathway
• Skin Care Pathway
• Skin Tear Pathway
• Surgical Wound Complications Clinical Pathway

These pathways have been developed by the North East Tissue Viability Practice Forum (NTVPF) which include representation from all Trusts.

Comments are welcomed from across the system, including residents and patients of the NENC. Comments will be returned to the Clinical Guidelines & Pathways Group/NTAG, and used to inform the final version that is presented for approval in the NENC. All comments will be reviewed but please do not expect a personal reply as we do not routinely reply to all comments. It is important to include any relevant evidence to back up any suggestions and please keep comments concise where possible.

All comments received will shared unedited with the authors/working group who are developing the document to support the production of a final draft for approval.
